Experimentation in Theater

Experimentation in any field always evokes hesitation and apprehension at first but it results in progress and success in later. Similarly, theater is a liberated art form that is never reluctant to use any sort of experimentation in its style. Like any art form, theater is also fluid and dynamic that blends ideas together and incorporates them into its structure.

It is due to the result of such experimentation that till now so many revolutionizing theater movements have come to the fore and pushed forward the development of theater. These movements include Blue Blouse movement, Absurd Movement, Existentialism, Social Realism, Alienation in Theater, Classical Revival, Naturalism, etc. Experimentation does not hurt anybody but only shakes them out of their comfort zone and encourages them to be different.
